The Trip co-pilot: an AI that knows the day you planned

Every trip you save in Tourific has a co-pilot. Ask it about the day itself: it reads the forecast for the trip's date, each stop's hours and the guide the day came from, answers access questions from each stop's own listing, and changes the plan when you ask, checking with you before it takes a stop off.

Free on iPhone and Android, with 150 agent credits a month on the free plan, 600 on Pro.

The Trip co-pilot on a Cold Spring day trip in Tourific: asked 'Will this day still work if it rains on Saturday?', it says the trip is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026, forecast overcast with a 3% chance of precipitation, and that Breakneck Ridge is a Class 3 scramble, the stop to be most cautious about in wet conditions, according to the guide; asked to take it off, it asks Remove Breakneck Ridge from Day 1?, and after Yes it removes it and marks it Applied to your trip

Asked in the app

A Cold Spring day, and the rain

A day trip planned in one tap from the Cold Spring guide, then two questions on November 3, 2026, and below them the co-pilot in September on a Kyoto trip. Words in quotes are the app's own; the rest says what the screens show.

  1. You ask

Will this day still work if it rains on Saturday?

    Trip co-pilot answers

"Saturday isn't the date on this itinerary: it's scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026. The forecast for that date is overcast with a 3% chance of precipitation, so rain doesn't look likely, but I can't assess Saturday's weather without its date. Also, Breakneck Ridge is a Class 3 scramble, so it's the stop I'd be most cautious about in wet conditions, according to the guide."

  2. You ask

Then take Breakneck Ridge off, it's too slippery in the rain

    Trip co-pilot answers

"Remove Breakneck Ridge from Day 1?" After a yes: "Removed Breakneck Ridge from your trip." The change is applied to the day plan, which drops to 2 stops and 15 minutes of travel.

  3. You ask

What do creators say about Fushimi Inari?

    Trip co-pilot answers

It comes back with what creators filmed there: the highlights, the quiet hours and the sources it used. With rain in the Kyoto forecast, it puts the indoor stops first.

What it does

What the Trip co-pilot can do

  • The forecast for your date

It reads the weather for the day the trip is planned for and says which stops it affects: on the Cold Spring day, the Class 3 scramble up Breakneck Ridge.

  • Adds and swaps stops

Ask for lunch near a stop or something indoors instead, and the day changes. Undo puts it back, and "undo that" works too.

  • Asks before it removes

Taking a stop off waits for a yes: "Remove Breakneck Ridge from Day 1?" Adding stays quick and undoable.

  • Hours and how long the day takes

It checks each stop's opening hours and says how long the day takes with the travel between stops.

  • Access questions

Wheelchair access, dogs and kids, answered from each stop's own listing, not a guess.

  • What creators filmed nearby

Spots creators filmed near your stops, with their tips, ready to add in a tap. It also knows the creator videos you watched in the last 24 hours.

Grounding

Where its answers come from

  • Your trip. The day plan, its date, the stops and the guide the trip came from.
  • Live place data. Each stop's listing: opening hours, ratings and access details.
  • The forecast. The weather for the trip's date at its stops.
  • Creator videos. Short videos uploaded to Tourific by the creators who filmed them, each tagged to its place and reviewed by the Tourific team.

Limits

What it will not do

  • It does not take a stop off without asking. A removal waits for your yes; every change can be undone.
  • It does not invent places. Every place it names comes from a real listing or a creator video.
  • It does not book for you. Tours and stays open their own booking pages.
  • It answers about this trip. For a new place anywhere, a day in another city or a road trip, Ask Tourific and the Route Planner do that.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Can an AI tell me if my day trip still works in the rain?

Tourific's Trip co-pilot can. On a Cold Spring day trip it gave the forecast for the trip's date (overcast, a 3% chance of precipitation) and named Breakneck Ridge, a Class 3 scramble, as the stop to be most careful with in wet conditions, citing the guide the day came from.

Will the co-pilot change my plan without asking?

Not when it takes something away. Asked to take Breakneck Ridge off, it replied "Remove Breakneck Ridge from Day 1?" and removed it only after a yes; the day dropped to 2 stops and 15 minutes of travel. Additions are quick, and Undo reverses any change.

What does the co-pilot know about my trip?

The day plan and its date, each stop with its hours, ratings and access details, the guide the trip came from, and the creator videos you watched in the last 24 hours.
